Our Year in Review...
2017 was an amazing year, to say the least. Not only was it an amazing one for us personally, but professionally as wedding photographers in Omaha. We photographed more love and moments than one can ever anticipate.
We photographed joy, ALL the weather, surprise, giddiness, stress, and every emotion in between that comes with a wedding day. We photographed some of the greatest moments with your friends during those wedding-prep hours. Shots, foosball, straight-shaves, formal-wear mishaps, and pre-wedding beers. We were there for some of the most special words of wisdom by your moms, dads, and grandparents right before you walked down the aisle. We were there when you were toasted by your sisters on meeting the love of you life. We were there when your little family turned into a big family. We were there for the alligator tears that came when you danced with your dad...when you saw your son marry his high school sweetheart...when your DJ accidentally started playing stripper music in the middle of a sentimental dance with your mom (#TrueStory).
We photographed so many moments that we know will only mean more as the days pass on and the whirl of your wedding day ages. We photographed the moments that will tell a grand story for the future generations that come...and the moments that will live on as a legacy to those lost this year. We were on a mission this year to not only be the best wedding photographers in Omaha and to deliver beautiful images, but to ABOVE ALL, be the best, most genuine documentarians of your life. We didn't want to "be the best" for the title and the window decal. We wanted to "be the best" to show that telling stories through images is what matters. That telling YOUR story through images matters. That it wasn't exactly the wedding that mattered, but the people that were in it and how much they loved you mattered.
Your moments have lived on through us and you make our hearts desire to live life to the fullest every day. We're so thankful that we get to have a job we love that builds our character through preserving memories. 2017 was a year of lovely, simple, and unique weddings for us, and we're excited to take you on a brief trip down memory lane.
